Driving Directions

I-75 South:

• Exit at Georgia/Florida Express Way GA 300 (Past Cordele).
• Follow GA 300 to Albany.
• 82 West (Oglethorpe Blvd.) Turn right.
• 82 West (Oglethorpe Blvd.) cross bridge (Flint River) Civic Center on left. DHR Bldg. next building on left.

I-85 South to Columbus:

• Take Albany Exit 520 East.
• Follow 520 East (82-East Business) into Albany.
• Make no turns; 520 runs into Dawson Road.
• Follow Dawson Road until it intersects with Slappey Blvd.
• Turn right, then get into left lane. Travel two stop lights and turn left at third stop light. This will be Oglethorpe Blvd. Stay on Oglethorpe Blvd. and the DHR Bldg. will be approximately 1.5 miles up on the right.

82 West:

• Follow 82 West and it runs into Oglethorpe Blvd.
• Follow Oglethorpe Blvd. until you cross bridge (Flint River).
• Civic Center will be on left. Next building is DHR Bldg.

About the Training Site

The training room is inside the DHR Building on the first floor.

Parking: Park in the last two rows, as you enter the parking area.

Restrooms: There are restrooms available in the training area.

Break Room: There are drink and snack machines available. Access to the Dougherty County DFCS is available by checking in with the security desk.

Restaurants: A booklet of Albany and its eateries is available at the training site.

Hotels/Motels in the Area
