Driving Directions

From North:

Interstate 85 South out of Atlanta will tie into 185 in LaGrange, Georgia, which is the primary artery to Columbus. Proceed into Columbus on I-185 until you reach exit number 7. Getting off on exit 7 (yield right), take a left at the light onto Armour Road. Continue on Armour Road, south, to the next traffic signal and turn left onto Warm Springs Road to the next traffic signal, Baymont Inn is to your left. Turn right onto E. Lindsay; Go past entrance to Columbus State University, the Elizabeth Bradley Turner Center is on the corner of the first block.

From East:

Origination from point’s east using Macon and Ft. Valley as landmarks, you will use state highways 80 or 96, respectively. Highway 80 will bring you into Columbus and intersect with state highway 85 and alternate 27. Exit highway 80 at this intersection traveling east into Columbus. After you travel under Interstate 185, take a left at the 2nd traffic light onto Armour Road. Continue on Armour Road, south, to the next traffic signal and turn left onto Warm Springs Road. Continue on Warm Springs Road to the next traffic signal, Baymont Inn is to your left. Turn right onto E. Lindsay; go past entrance to Columbus State University, the Elizabeth Bradley Turner Center is on the corner of the first block.

From South:

Columbus is bordered on the South by Ft. Benning Military Reservation. Travel should be directed that would enable connection to highway 520, which connects Columbus to Albany, Georgia. Between Columbus and Albany, Highway 520 is synonymous with highway 280, which, after traveling through Ft. Benning will connect to Interstate 185 on the South side of Columbus. Exit onto I-185 traveling north until you reach exit 7-A (yield right). Continue to travel under Interstate 185, take a left at the 2nd traffic light onto Armour Road. Continue on Armour Road, south, to the next traffic signal and turn left onto Warm Springs Road. Continue on Warm Springs Road to the next traffic signal, Baymont Inn is to your left. Turn right onto E. Lindsay; go past entrance to Columbus State University, the Elizabeth Bradley Turner Center is on the corner of the first block.

From West:

Columbus is accessed through traveling through points of Dothan, Montgomery, and Birmingham, Alabama. Columbus, Georgia is accessed through Phenix City, Alabama through these points and their associated arteries. From Phenix City, take highway 80 to the north Columbus By-pass. Then, take exits 4 to I-185 south until you reach exit number 7. When getting off on exit 7 (yield right), take a left at the light onto Armour Road. Continue on Armour Road, south, to the next traffic signal and turn left onto Warm Springs Road. Continue on Warm Springs Road to the next traffic signal, Baymont Inn is to your left. Turn right onto E. Lindsay; go past entrance to Columbus State University, the Elizabeth Bradley Turner Center is on the corner of the first block.
